“There is nothing more fulfilling than being a part of uncovering purposes in others' lives, seeing their lives changed and then witnessing their influence on others for eternity. Being a part of Living Oaks Community Church staff gives me another opportunity to live out my life's mission: I want to leave a legacy of being a vehicle for God that impacted lives…and see them pass it on.”

Living in Thousand Oaks since 1985, Connie is blessed with five men in her life… husband, Pete and sons, Daniel (26), Andrew (19), Benjamin (19) and Spencer (16) … and two more males, Max, pets Labrador Retriever and Kobe, (pets respectively, Labrador Retriever and part Yellow Lab and ???? we think coyote!), as well as an adopted 13 year old female Alaskan Huskie, Dakota.

Connie's working life has involved sales and motivational training, and corporate positions Her experience also includes marketing and recruiting for adult degree completion and graduate programs for Biola University, a Southern California private Christian university.  She has also worked in the financial arena for Mid-America University (formerly Mid-America Bible Institute, Houston, TX).

Connie combines her organizational and business knowledge and life coaching skills with her desire to be God's instrument to change lives. “I am excited about what I see God doing through Pastor Doug's teaching and the Body of LOCC to impact this community for Christ and raise up people that are ‘Oaks of Righteousness.'
