The Living Oaks GO! Team (GO! for Global Outreach) coordinates efforts help us move beyond the walls of LOCC. Whether it is encouraging a church planting movement in Northern India, resourcing orphanages in Russian and Uganda, or re-building homes Biloxi Mississippi destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, all of these efforts flow from our commitment to be Sowers... "...into all the world." (Mark 16:15)
 
Our Mission - "To Fully Know and Faithfully Proclaim Christ" - is personal. It extends around the world, yet includes our neighbors next door. It is simply an extension of Christ's great commission in Matthew 28:18-20 to "Go into all the world and make disciples..." Another translation says we are to make disciples "as we are going." As others see Christ in us and hear His story, we begin to sow the Word of God into the soil of their hearts. We can Pray for, Care for, and Share the Good News of Jesus to all who God brings across our path. We can truly "Sow as we GO" into all the world.
On a local and regional scale, we work with organizations like City Impact and ActioNetwork here in Ventura County. Internationally we support and partner with missionaries virtually around the globe. Service projects and short term trips are under development constantly so click in to this page often for opportunities that fit you.
