Clark and Gail Whitney
Serving in the United States and North Africa
In 1984 Clark and Gail Whitney began service focused on an unreached Muslim people group in North Africa. Their personal mission statement is "By God's enabling, to do all we can do to facilitate the birth and growth of an indigenous church planting movement." Because of security considerations, the name of this group and their location cannot be published here.
Clark and Gail have lived and worked with this group in a remote village for nearly a decade. As part of a small Bible translation team, they helped produce an entire New Testament that was published in 1998. After 14 years overseas, they have now taken on US based roles as People Group Advocates and Strategy Facilitators for their Muslim Group, one of the largest and least reached in the world. Currently much of their work is with an international network of intercessors and consulting with other field missionaries to improve ministry methods and inreach to this region of North Africa.
