Scott comes to LOCC with wealth of experience serving at First Baptist of Van Nuys, The Church at Rocky Peak in Chatsworth, and Calvary Community Church, Westlake Village, a ministry spanning twenty eight years. Scott uses a variety of talents, gifts, and ministries to simply “Point people to Christ,” introducing them and helping them to grow up into His fullness as they Point others to “The Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6).

Pastor Davis has a heart to see everyone with a ministry that builds up the local body of Christ and a mission that Prays for, Cares for, and Shares Christ with their neighbors here and around the world. Pastor Scotts’ unique gifting helps him facilitate and oversee ministry development within all of Living Oaks 5 C’s. This includes Missions, Global and Local Outreaches, Evangelism, Life Groups, Care, Discipleship, and Celebration Worship. In addition Scott birthed and co-leads the LOCC’ Singles Adult Ministry, “The Gathering” and Divorce Recovery Ministries.

God has also worked through Pastor Scott to help develop significant relationships and ministry in the former Soviet Union over the past 12 years. Scott has seen churches birthed, built, and grown and hundreds receive Christ. In partnership with Christian Associates International, there is the possibility of building High Impact Churches all over Eastern Europe.

Scott has also seen the Russian Orphanage Ministry and Medical Outreaches established, sponsoring literally hundreds of children, improving their general welfare with the ultimate goal of Christ being firmly planted in their lives. Scott says one thing is for sure: You will never be the same after you obediently say, “Here am I Lord,
send me” (Isa.6:8).

Pastor Davis graduated from Kansas State University and has a M.A. degree in Marriage and Family from Phillips Institute. He and his wife Joan live in Westlake Village. They love spending time with their families, three grown children, two grandchildren, and a Dalmatian named “D.J.”
