Be a Sower of the Good News of Jesus Christ!

For many months, that has been the encouragement to the LOCC family. From the New Testament example of the Sower (2 Cor. 9:10) we are encouraged to identify the people in our lives who need to know Jesus Christ - our friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers - and then through three simple steps, be a sower. Those steps are:
Prayer
Care

Care - the best way to attract others to Jesus is to be caring, like Him |

Share - as natural opportunities arise, we can share our faith stories with others. |

Sow as you go..."into all the world." (Mark 16:15)
In February of 2006 we unveiled a 6' x 20' mural of "The Sower" as depicted by world renowned artist James Coleman. This stunning painting resides in the Living Oaks Worship Center foyer and, as James described, "...will never be finished until the last name is written on it!" James encouraged the LOCC family to write the names of the people we had identified on our Prayer, Care, Share, list directly on to the mural. Nearly 3000 names have been added to the painting to date.
